This centre is located in the old quarter of Zahara. Through its facilities, the visitors can go into the diversity of landscape of this Natural Park, from deep cut vertical walls to green valleys. This Park has peculiar environmental conditions, a fact that has led to the appearance of an important flora diversity. Flora occupies a prominent place in this exhibition space, where it is possible to discover its high number of exclusive species, the adaptation of these to hostile environments or the possibility of discovering the different traditional uses of plants. Within this great variety of plants, the Pinsapo takes a special relevance and prominence; in this route, the visitors will know its history, the species of flora and fauna that there are in it. After the visit to the centre, just 40 metres away, you can visit the Pinsapar of Zahara. There is the botanical garden in the centre of Zahara, where we can contemplate the tree species of our park, and especially the Pinsapo, jewel of the Natural Park, all inside the village.

It was built over the remains of the old Christian church which in turn, was probably built over an old Islamic mosque. As Christian texts say, it is an exhibition space that spreads information of the history of the town. This centre focuses on the topic of ritual space, since this place has been sacred since antiquity. This exposition is divided into several sections where traditional static panels and multimedia resources have been used to emphasize the visual experience of this space. It has structures and supports that allow certain compartmentalization and delimitation of some particular areas, which in turn, reinforce the understanding of this thematic route. The archaeological remains have visual access from the main platform of the route which has specific lighting. Among the archaeological remains we can differentiate remains of a cistern excavated in the rock of the Turdetan period (Century.V-IV BC) where according to the archaeologists, worship was performed by the waters by putting offerings into the cistern. There are some remains from Roman period also related to water such as a cistern that we can observe outside, on the eastern wall of the building. The Islamic remains are in a bad condition since there is only a wall on the right of the wooden walkway placed at the entrance. This building, probably the Santa María de la Concepción Church, is divided into three parts: a larger central part and two lateral parts, which in turn, are subdivided into two compartments. At the end of the XV century or beginning of the XVI, this building was filled and the apse and the Gothic-Mudejar church named Sta. Mª de la Mesa were built.

The chapter of the samples of sumptuary art preserved in the liturgical trousseau of the parish museum of Zahara is of great interest. These samples are mainly focused on goldsmith and embroidery. This museum has pieces of great relevance from sixteenth and nineteenth centuries and that became outstanding examples of Renaissance, Mannerist, Baroque and Neoclassical styles.
