Besides these facilities, for its geographical location and the access road to Puerto de las Palomas, Zahara is a key place for athletics, swimming and cycling (mountain or road) since the speed hills of our roads are a tough challenge for lovers of these sports. Thanks to this privileged situation, Triatlón Titán Sierra de Cádiz (one of the hardest challenges of our geographical location) became famous over the years since it attracts a great multitude of athletes from all over Spain and beyond our country. Las Palomas trail, a benchmark for mountain races and "Travesía a nado" (swim Crossing) of the Embalse de Zahara (Zahara’s lake), are two very important and prestigious competitions that bring many participants together.
